APOXAR FEMARA GENERAL DESCRIPTION

Apoxar Femara (Letrozole) is one of the most effective aromatase inhibitors that suppress the concentration of estrogens in the blood. However, the drug does not belong to the steroid group of drugs. It’s popular in medicine and sports.

In medicine, the drug is used for post-menopausal women with breast cancer. The basic principle of the drug’s effect made it prevalent in sports – aromatase inhibitors are used by athletes due to the fact that during administration of laboratory-synthesized testosterone in the form of anabolic steroids negative side effects may occur in cases of strong aromatization. Estradiol acts as the primary female sex hormone and can be produced in small concentrations by testicles. The usage of hormonal anabolic drugs may result in hormonal imbalances and increased secretion of estradiol in the body. Letrozole allows for blocking aromatase enzymes responsible for the stimulation of estradiol production.

APOXAR FEMARA ADMINISTRATION AND DOSAGE

Apoxar Femara should be used during an anabolic-androgenic steroid cycle to prevent side effects and suppress the already manifesting symptoms. As a preventive measure the drug is used at 0.5 mg of the active agent (1/5 of a tablet) once every two days. If signs of aromatization have already manifested, then 2.5 mg of the aromatase inhibitor (a whole tablet) should be taken daily until the symptoms disappear, after which users should employ preventive doses. Dosages of Letrozole may vary depending on the health of the athlete – if there is disturbed erectile function or depression, the dose is reduced.

It is vital to test for estradiol levels approximately 10 days after the start of the short ester drug cycle. If a steroid with prolonged activity is used during the cycle, the tests are made 3-4 weeks after the start of the cycle with the addition of therapeutic doses of the drug. After 10 days the tests are to be conducted once again.

APOXAR FEMARA COMBINED CYCLES

Apoxar Femara has been previously used during post-cycle therapy at 2.5 mg daily for one week (with possible extension to 13 days). Then, during days 14-21 the daily dosage is reduced to 0.5 mg. During post-cycle therapy, regular hormonal levels are restored, gained muscle mass is preserved, signs of reversion to female type in male users are prevented, preventive actions against oligospermia and testicular atrophy are taken, and the risk of steroid-related adverse reactions is reduced.

It is recommended to use Letrozole during a steroid cycle with drugs that are prone to high aromatization, e.g. various testosterone esters, methandrostenolone and others. Athletes can determine the appropriate time to start the aromatase inhibitor usage subjectively, when the first symptoms of aromatization first appear (swelling of the nipples, redness, itching) while using the proper dosage. It’s better to use antiestrogens for PCT as they produce more potent results concerning the restoration of the body after a steroid cycle.
